Today is the one-year anniversary since the disappearance of Happy Charles.
The 43-year-old woman from La Ronge was last seen in Prince Albert on April 3, 2017.
Surveillance video indicates she had been in the area of PACI High School on 20th Street West. A number of ground searches have been conducted in Prince Albert and the surrounding area by volunteers.
Officials with Prince Albert police say the investigation in ongoing, with officers continuing to follow up on leads.
Other units have also been involved, including RCMP police dog services, the Saskatoon Police Service Air Support Unit, the RCMP Truth Verification Unit and the RCMP Forensic Video Analysis Unit.
The Happy Charles case has also been added to Canada’s missing person website.
Anyone with information on the disappearance of Happy Charles is asked to contact Prince Albert police or Crime Stoppers.
