The second annual Bush Rush Ultimate Challenge takes place Saturday at Eagle Point Resort, which is located just outside of La Ronge.
The event is a five-kilometre Spartan-like race, which features an obstacle course.
“This year, we’re going to have 16 obstacles interspersed throughout that five kilometres,” said Travis Hegland, the organizer of the event.
People 12 and older can compete in the adult division, but there’s still an option for younger athletes.
“Last year, there were kids that wanted to participate, but I couldn’t make it happen,” said Hegland. “This year, I’m actually going to make a smaller version just for the kids.”
The event begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Eagle Point Resort.
If you still want to sign up, you can do so starting at 9 a.m. prior to the race.
