A member of the Loon Lake RCMP is being recognizing for his role in rescuing two people from a house fire on the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation last year.
Constable Tayte Hale-Goddard was one of two officers who responded to the fire on March 1, 2017.
He received a commendation for bravery today in Saskatoon.
The award was presented by the Commanding Officer of F Division (Saskatchewan).
Hale-Goddard and fellow officer Constable Landon Bueckart also received a bronze medal for bravery from the provincial government in 2017 for their roles in the rescue.
