One person is dead and two others are in hospital following a vehicle rollover on the Standing Buffalo First Nation early this morning.
RCMP say the single-vehicle collision occurred on grid road 727 and it was determined that the vehicle lost control on a slight bend in the road, entered the ditch, rolled and struck a power pole.
The 18-year-old female driver was taken to a Regina hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 22-year-old male passenger from the Okanese First Nation was declared deceased at the scene.
A third 19-year-old female passenger was transported to hospital in Fort Qu’Appelle with undetermined injuries.
As the investigation continues, RCMP warn the highway will be closed for several hours. Police are not releasing any names.
