The Piapot First Nation north of Regina has returned Jeremy Fourhorns as their Chief in elections conducted Tuesday.
Fourhorns took 443 votes to his only challenger Darrell Obey’s 243.
Eight councilors were elected, with four returning; Mark Fox, Harold Kaiswatum, Ira Lavallee and Jason Wesaquate will serve another term.
George Toto, Marilyn Kaiswatum, Conrad Obey and Miranda Kaiswatum were also elected to council.
Chief and Council serve a two year term.
