UPDATE – A thirty-year-old Flin Flon resident who had triggered ground and aerial searches in the Pinehouse Lake area has been found safe.

Helicopters had been flying over the Haultain River as recently as today.

Shawn Norman had last been seen at a bush camp around Highway 914 north of Pinehouse Lake before his disappearance earlier this week.

But RCMP now report Norman has been located unharmed.

 

*UPDATE – Thirty-year-old Shawn Michael Norman remains missing and Pinehouse Lake RCMP are still seeking the public’s assistance in providing any information regarding his whereabouts.

Police say they are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have been travelling Highway 914 north of Pinehouse Lake over the last few days and may have seen Norman.

Pinehouse RCMP with assistance from RCMP Search and Rescue and Civilian Aviation Search and Rescue Association (CASARA) continue to conduct ground and aerial searches for Norman.

Helicopters are currently flying over the Haultain River as part of the effort.

 

The search continues today for a 30-year-old man from Flin Flon believed to be in the Pinehouse area.

RCMP say Shawn Michael Norman was last seen at a bush camp near Highway 914 north of Pinehouse Lake.

He was wearing blue jeans and a camouflage sweater.

RCMP Search and Rescue and an aircraft with CASARA have been involved in the search so far.

Mounties say his disappearance is not suspicious, but they are concerned for his well-being.
