The Canadian Challenge Sled Dog Race continues through northern Saskatchewan today.
The eight-dog winner has been crowned. Jerry Joinson of Tagish, YT came across the line first. Jillian Lawton of Rocky Mountain House, AB finished in second place.
The 12-dog race is still going on.

The event will officially conclude on Saturday with the awards breakfast in La Ronge.
