It was a successful weekend of golf for Dade Bernatchez from Sucker River, SK.
Bernatchez, who plays on the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour, captured first place in a male peewee event in Swift Current, SK.
Due to weather, the 12-year-old Bernatchez and the rest of the group only played one round. Bernatchez shot an 87, which was a five-stroke win over Estevan’s Jayden Chernoff.
Earlier this year, Bernatchez claimed third at an event in Estevan.
