Three people are facing charges after La Loche RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on the Clearwater River Dene Nation Monday.
The warrant was executed under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Police seized a number of items including a firearm, ammunition, BB guns, brass knuckles, a replica gun and a significant amount of cash.
Twenty-one-year-old Kennan Sylvestre is charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, careless storage of a firearm and trafficking cocaine.
Forty-three-year-old Casey Piche faces charges of assaulting a peace officer, trafficking cocaine and resisting arrest.
A 15-year-old male, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is also charged with offenses unrelated to the search including theft of a motor vehicle and mischief under $5,000.
All three have since been released and are scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 9 in La Loche.
