Four people are facing charges after members of the Battlefords RCMP Street Enforcement Team found a suspicious vehicle in the 1100 block of 105th Street in North Battleford on Saturday.
While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, RCMP saw a firearm and then requested additional patrol units.
105th street was temporarily closed and three adult males and three adult females were arrested.
38-year-old Dennis Starchief’s charges include possession of methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
Starchief, 38-year-old Nathan Bugler and 35-year-old Camille Starchief are facing several firearm-related charges.
29-year-old Marie Wuttunee has been charged with possessing ammunition while prohibited from doing so and two counts of failing to comply with court conditions.
The other woman and man were released without charges.
The four charged individuals were remanded for court on Monday.
