UPDATE – RCMP say Joseph Yahyahkeekoot has been located and is being treated for minor injuries.
Rosthern RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 77-year-old Joseph Yahyahkeekoot.
Yahyahkeekoot was last seen Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. on the Beardy’s First Nation. He told family members he was going to check his snares along a trapline.
Yahyahkeekoot was last seen wearing a blue jacket, plaid shirt and blue sweatpants and a beaded headband with “Joe” on the front.
He is 5’8”, 180 lbs., with long grey hair and a grey beard.
He was last seen driving a brown 2012 Chevrolet Silverado with a Saskatchewan plate of 151 LMZ.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 77-year-old Joseph Yahyahkeekoot is asked to contact Rosthern RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
