RCMP say a more than six-month investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit has resulted in charges against a 33-year-old Onion Lake Cree Nation man.
James Gabriel Buffalo was charged with accessing and possession of child pornography after police executed a search warrant at a local residence Thursday.
During the search, officers say they found child pornography and seized a computer, smart phones and digital storage devices.
Buffalo’s next court appearance is on Feb. 19 in Onion Lake.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is made up of RCMP and Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert police officers.
