The La Ronge Ice Wolves saw their virtual season come to an end Sunday when they dropped a 4-3 decision in overtime to the Yorkton Terriers, who took the first-round series in six games.
The Ice Wolves got goals from Daylon Mannon, Jordan Mish and Aaron Greyeyes. Liam McGarva returned to the lineup and he made 54 saves in a losing cause.
Jordan Guiney potted the overtime winner for the Terriers and he also scored in regulation.
The real SJHL playoffs were cancelled in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so the league has been simulating playoff contests using the game NHL 2020 on PS4.
