The La Ronge Ice Wolves were able to select seven players throughout six rounds of the SJHL Bantam Draft this year.
With the 49th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2020 SJHL Bantam Draft, the La Ronge Ice Wolves selected forward Rowan Martin-Bryk of Saskatoon, SK.
Martin-Bryk recorded 26 points and 60 penalty minutes in 22 games with the Saskatoon Bandits U15 AA team during the 2019-20 season.
“I’m hard-working, I like to get in the corners – dig,” said Martin-Bryk. “I like to move the puck a lot. I’m not a selfish player, I’m all about my team.”
Meanwhile, the SJHL is targeting Sept. 25th as its start date for the 2020-21 season, but nothing has been set in stone yet.
