The death toll from complications of COVID-19 continue to rise.

Four deaths reported Sunday, including a person in their 60’s in the Far North. Public health officials did not indicate where the death occurred.

The Far North West has ten deaths, while the Far North East has one. The total provincial death toll is 59.

The Far North identified 43 new cases over the weekend as the province saw 417.

The Far North West has 185 active cases, while the Far North East is at 196.

The Fond du Lac Denesuline First Nation has four active cases with two people in hospital. 11 people identified as close contacts are in self-isolation.

There are 135 people in hospital, with 174 recoveries over the weekend.
