There are a number of familiar faces on the newly elected Canoe Lake Cree First Nation chief and council.
Francis Iron has been re-elected as chief and Bernice Iron, Lenny Iron, Lorne Iron, Wilfred Iron and Robert Opikokew will all serve another term on council.
Walter Coulineur is the lone newly elected councillor.
A total of six candidates ran for chief and 28 candidates for council.
The election was held on Dec. 16.
Francis Iron received 252 votes and Opikokew received the most votes of any council candidate with 253.
