The Métis Nation-Saskatchewan and Trudeau government have signed an agreement on the future management of the Batoche National Historic Site.
The agreement was signed virtually Friday morning between MN-S President Glen McCallum and Parks Canada CEO Ron Hallman.
Discussions on management of the site will be held as part of the Framework Agreement for Advancing Reconciliation.
The MN-S and federal government signed this agreement in July 2018.
The original Batoche National Historic Site Management Agreement was signed by the two parties in 1998.
