The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) said there were 629 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Monday.
The far northeast zone is reporting the most active cases with 234. The far northeast region is reporting the second highest number of cases with 146, followed by the far northeast which has 141. The north central zone is currently reporting 65 cases.
Eight people are in hospital and the number of recoveries is sitting at 1,351.
In the far north central region, the Athabasca Health Authority is reporting 32 active cases of the virus. The local health authority also reported two new recoveries.
Black Lake, where an outbreak has been declared, is reporting 25 active cases. One person is currently in hospital. Fond-du-Lac currently has seven active cases and one person in hospital. Stony Rapids is no longer reporting any active cases.
