The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) is reporting 267 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities.

Seven people are currently in hospital while 1,149 recoveries are being reported.

The far northeast region continues to have the highest number of active cases with 148. The far northwest is reporting the second highest number with 66, while the north central region has 31 cases. The northeast region is currently reporting 17 cases.

In the far north central part of the province the Athabasca Health Authority is reporting 13 active cases. The health authority said they have seen five more people test positive since their last report.

Black Lake currently has the highest number of cases in the basin with six. Stony Rapids has four cases, while three cases are connected to the community of Fond-du-Lac.
