The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 214 active COVID-19 cases in their communities Thursday.
The far northeast reported the most active cases with 84. The northeast reported the second highest number of cases with 56. The far northwest region reported 29 active cases and the north central zone had 10.
NITHA said five people were in hospital and the number of recoveries currently sits at 2,651.
In the far north, the Athabasca Health Authority reported 42 active cases of COVID-19. The health authority said since there last report they have seen three more positive tests.
Black Lake reported the highest number of active cases in the region with 32. Three people from the community are currently in hospital. Meanwhile Fond-du-Lac had 10 active cases with two people in hospital.
