The Northern Inter Tribal Health (NITHA) reported 259 active COVID-19 cases in their communities Tuesday.
The far northeast region reported the highest number of active cases with 85. The northeast reported the second highest number of cases with 72. The far northwest had 50 cases, while the north central zone reported 11.
According to NITHA there were four people in hospital while the number of recoveries currently sits at 2,576.
In the far north central part of the province the Athabasca Health Authority reported a total of 29 active cases Tuesday. The local health authority said since their last report they have had five more people test positive.
Black Lake was reported to have 22 active cases, with two people from the community in hospital. Fond-du-Lac reported seven active cases with three people in hospital.
