The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 260 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Tuesday.
The far northeast reported the highest number of active cases with 118. The northeast reported the second highest number of cases with 39 while the far northwest reported 37 active cases. The north central zone reported seven cases.
Four people from NITHA communities are in hospital while the number of recoveries is sitting at 2,723.
The Athabasca Health Authority reported 49 active cases in their communities Tuesday. The health authority said since their last report they have had five more people test positive and had five more people recover.
Of Athabasca communities, Black Lake reported 43 active cases with three people from the community in hospital. Fond-du-Lac reported six active cases with two people in hospital.
