The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 294 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Tuesday.
The far northeast region reported the most active cases with 105. The northeast zone reported the second most cases with 81. The far northwest region had 62 cases and the north central zone reported 13 active cases.
According to NITHA six people are currently in hospital while the number of recoveries sits at 2,408.
In the far north, the Athabasca Health Authority reported 31 active cases Tuesday. Since their last report four more people have tested positive for the virus and three more people have recovered.
The community of Black Lake reported 26 active COVID-19 cases, with three people from the community in hospital. Fond-du-Lac reported five active cases with two people from the community in hospital.
