The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 147 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Monday.
The far northeast region reported the most active cases with 78. The far northwest had the second highest number of active cases with 38 while the northeast reported 12. The north central zone had 3 cases as of Monday.
NITHA said there are seven people in hospital while the number of recoveries is sitting at 2,942.
The Athabasca Health Authority in the province’s far north reported 21 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Monday. The health authority said since their last report they have had one new positive case. Seven new recoveries were also reported.
Of Athabasca communities, Black Lake reported the most active cases with 19. Two people from the community are currently in hospital. Fond-du-Lac had two active cases with two being in hospital.
