The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 153 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Thursday.
The far northeast reported the most active cases with 106. The far northwest reported the second highest number of cases with 30. The northeast zone had nine active cases while the north central region reported zero active cases.
NITHA said three people are now in hospital while 2,994 cases have recovered so far.
The Athabasca Health Authority reported nine active cases of COVID-19 in their region Thursday. Since their last report the health authority has seen one more person test positive and no new recoveries.
Of communities in the basin, Black Lake reported eight active cases with one person in hospital. Fond-du-Lac had one active case with one person in hospital.
