The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 175 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Friday.
The far northeast reported the highest number of active cases with 114. The far northwest reported the second highest number of cases with 40, the northeast had 12 and the north central zone has no active cases.
According to NITHA three people are in hospital and 2,994 cases have recovered so far.
The Athabasca Health Authority reported nine active cases of COVID-19 in their region. Since their last report one more person has tested positive while one more person has recovered.
Of Athabasca communities, Black Lake reported eight active cases with one person from the community was in hospital. Fond-du-Lac had one active cases with one person from the community in hospital.
