The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 43 active cases of COVID-19 in their communities Friday.
The far northeast again reported the highest number of active cases with 31. The northeast reported four active cases while the far northwest had one active case. The north central region reported no active cases.
According to NITHA one person is currently in hospital while the number of recoveries is now sitting at 3,230.
The Athabasca Health Authority reported six active COVID-19 cases in their region Friday. Since their last report the health authority has not had any new positive cases, they also reported one new recovery.
Of Athabasca communities Black Lake reported five active cases while Fond-du-Lac reported one active case with one person in hospital.
On the vaccine front, the health authority said so far 551 people in the region have got their first dose of the vaccine while 462 people have got both doses.
