The Northern Inter Tribal Health Authority (NITHA) reported 38 active COVID-19 cases in their communities Wednesday.
The far northeast reported the most active cases with 19, while the northeast had the second highest number of cases with 10. The north central zone reported five active cases while the far northwest region reported two.
According to NITHA one person is currently in hospital while the number of recoveries is sitting at 3,264.
In the far north the Athabasca Health Authority reported no active cases of COVID-19. On the vaccine front, the health authority said 551 people have got their first dose of the vaccine while 462 people have got both doses.
