La Ronge RCMP say they have charged 20 people with more than 50 offences including drug trafficking, possession of illegal firearms and possession of the proceeds of crime.
The charges stem from infractions committed in the first five months of this year.
Police say they also seized hundreds of grams of illegal drugs, drug trafficking paraphernalia and illegal firearms as a result of these investigations.
RCMP credit the arrests to the work of the recently expanded general investigation section.
La Ronge’s GIS unit was expanded from one to three officers in 2020.
