Two men from Onion Lake are facing a number of charges after a police traffic stop Saturday night.
RCMP say they pulled a vehicle over for an expired plate on the Onion Lake Cree Nation around 6:45 p.m.
A search of the vehicle uncovered a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and cocaine, drug packaging material, a scale, multiple imitation firearms and an altered firearm.
Thirty-nine-year-old Aaron Chief is charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Twenty-six-year-old Zack Thomas was arrested on warrants out of the Lloydminster RCMP detachment.
Chief was due to appear in Lloydminster court Monday.
