RCMP says it has charged a woman in the death of a Big River First Nation man from early 2020.
Police determined that Richard Netmaker had been abducted from his home and was last seen in an isolated area northwest of the First Nation on January 6.
Mounties would discovery his body in a rural area near Pekakumew Lake four days later. Officers arrested and charged Karlyne Morin July 26.
She is facing charges of criminal negligence causing death and forcible confinement. Morin will appear in court Thursday.
