Cumberland House Cree Nation is warning residents about a COVID-19 exposure at J.B. Settee Memorial Arena during an event.

Cumberland House Cree Nation announced the exposure on Sept. 1, with it occurring on Aug. 28.

Anyone who attended the event are asked to self-monitor for any symptoms, which include fever or chills; cough; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; fatigue; muscle or body aches; headaches; new loss of taste or smell; sore throat; congestion or runny nose; nausea or vomiting; and diarrhea.

Should any symptoms develop, residents are required to isolate and request testing by calling the Victoria Laliberte Memorial Health Centre at 306-888-4778.

All known close contacts have been identified and the individual is isolating.
