RCMP say a charge of murder has been laid in connection to a woman who died over three years ago.
In November of 2018, 66-year-old Deanna Greyeyes was found dead in a rural area near Muskeg Lake Cree Nation after she was reported missing.
RCMP say they have been investigating her death since then and now say they have arrested 34-year-old Stephen Greyeyes in her murder.
Greyeyes faces a charge of second-degree murder along with a charge of indignity to a body.
RCMP have not said if the victim and the accused were known to each other.
Greyeyes is due back in a Saskatoon courtroom on February 14.
Muskeg Lake Cree Nation is just under 90 km southwest of Prince Albert.
