An adult man in La Ronge was arrested Wednesday evening after entering the La Ronge Health Centre where he stated he had a firearm.
La Ronge RCMP were called, confronted the man who then allegedly threatened to shoot the police, but he then ran away.
Police then received a call from the Mel Hegland Uniplex, which is located near the Health Centre, with a similar issue of a man threatening that he had a weapon.
The RCMP went to the Uniplex and say they were able to de-escalate the situation and arrest the man without injuries.
Police say the man did not have a gun and was charged with uttering threats.
RCMP say they will not be releasing any identifying information about the man.
