Saskatoon police have arrested one person and put out three arrest warrants in relation to the death of a Métis woman in Saskatoon.

Megan Gallagher went missing in September 2020 and police would soon start investigating her disappearance as a homicide.

Police announce on Wednesday they have arrested a 41-year-old man and charged him with Indignity to Human Remains.

He is set to be in court on Thursday.

An arrest warrant has also been issued for three others with the same charge – 44-year-old John Wayne Sanderson, 44-year-old Roderick William Sutherland, and 42-year-old Jessica Sutherland.
