The public alert issued for La Ronge, Air Ronge and Lac La Ronge is now cancelled.
The alert was issued after RCMP said some of their officers were fired on. Police said originally they were looking for two suspects.
In an update on the SaskAlert App police say multiple have been taken into to custody.
Police are continuing their search for the suspect in the photo shared on social media. He is described as an adult male with short dark hair with his sides shaved. The suspect was last seen wearing dark pants and a dark shirt with gold patterns down the sleeves. He also had on dark runners and was last seen on foot in the area of Far Reserve Road in Air Ronge. There was as well a possible sighting of him heading north on Highway Two. Police said they have not yet been able to confirm his identity.

RCMP did not provide a description of a second suspect but said they thought he was inside house 136 on Far Reserve Road in Air Ronge, where police were on scene.
Police asked people to seek shelter and lock all doors and windows. They are as well asked people not to leave a secure location and not to pick up hitch hikers. Anyone operating drones in the area was asked to stop and police asked people not to disclose the location of officers on social media.
