Police say they have located human remains in the South Saskatchewan River near St. Louis where they were searching for the body of Megan Gallagher.
A dedicated search effort was underway today and police announced late this afternoon they recovered human remains.
Police say the remains will now be tested to confirm if they are in fact the remains of Megan Gallagher.
Gallagher went missing in Saskatoon in September 2020.
Police believe she was killed on the night she disappeared and her body was disposed in this area of the river.
A total of 8 people have been charged in relation to her death and disappearance.
