RCMP are reporting that Lenora Durocher and Dennis Burnouf  were found safe this morning on the east side of Lac La Plonge. Police would like to thank everyone who assisted in the search for them.

Beauval RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find two missing people.

According to police Lenora Durocher and Dennis Burnouf were last seen this past Sunday and had made plans to travel to Lac La Plonge Dam where they were going to do some fishing and hunting. The two planned to return from their trip on Monday afternoon but have not been heard from since they left on Sunday. The pair were reported missing to police on Tuesday.

The truck which Burnouf was driving has been found at Lac La Plonge Dam near the boat launch, the boat trailer hitched up to the truck was empty.

Durocher is 32 years old and has brown hair and brown eyes, while Burnouf is 56 years old and also has brown hair and brown eyes.

Search efforts are underway for the pair, with Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA) personnel and a range of other people including locals familiar with the area also helping.

The investigation is on going and anyone with information is asked to contact Beauval RCMP.
