Another northern community has declared a local state of emergency due to wildfires.
Buffalo Narrows declared the state of emergency on Sunday calling for a partial and voluntary evacuation.
In a statement, Mayor Sandy Ericson, asked anyone who may have a higher risk of health complications from exposure to smoke to evacuate.
A reception centre was set up at the village office to help with the evacuation efforts.
There is also a heightened concern as the fire threatens the only southern exit out of the community.
According to the Public Safety Agency the blaze had grown to nearly 25,000 hectares in size by Sunday morning.
Ericson says the community is prepared to evacuate further if needed.
The public safety agency says the fire is being attacked with crews, heavy equipment, helicopters, and air tankers.
Currenlty there are five wildfires in the province considered not contained.
