La Ronge RCMP are reporting they have charged three people after a robbery Monday morning.
According to police they were called about someone being assaulted with a weapon. Officers responded and found a man had been assaulted and his vehicle stolen. The victim suffered what police are calling minor injuries.
Eventually the stolen vehicle was found at a business nearby. Four people were in the vehicle and three were taken in to custody with no problems while a fourth person refused to get out. Police said they used a conductive energy device on the suspect to take them in to custody.
21-year-old Cordell McCallum, who is from the La Ronge district, 28-year-old Nap McCallum, from Prince Albert and 24-year-old Dianne McCallum, from Stanley Mission are charged with a range of offenses including robbery, possession of stolen property and weapons offenses. Cordell McCallum is also facing charges related to impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
All three are set to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court Thursday.
