RCMP have charged 22-year-old woman with second degree murder in the death of a youth.
Big River RCMP said they were called this past Monday night to Big River First Nation about a serious assault. Police said their investigation found an adult had assaulted a 15-year-old youth. The youth was pronounced dead by EMS and the woman was arrested at the scene.
22-year-old Maryanna Sakebow, who is from Prince Albert was set to be in Prince Albert Provincial Court Wednesday.
