A 29 year-old man is facing a number of charges after a traffic stop this weekend in La Ronge.
La Ronge RCMP said this past Saturday as part of an ongoing trafficking investigation they stopped a vehicle on La Ronge Avenue. During the stop police said they saw alcohol in plain site and arrested the driver who was the only person in the car.
While searching the vehicle RCMP said they found 29 grams of cocaine, a firearm along with cash and what they called trafficking paraphernalia.
Ryan Murray, who is from Saskatoon is charged with five separate offenses including possession for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of property obtained by crime.
Murray was set to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court Tuesday.
