The Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) said a 27-year-old woman is facing charges after a drug trafficking investigation.

Police said last Thursday their crime reduction team searched a home on the 1000 block of eighth street E and found over 800 grams of methamphetamine and over 40 grams of cocaine. Police said they also found a 22 calibre rifle, two airsoft guns, a ballistic vest and $2000 in cash. According to police the seized drugs are worth in excess of $46,000.

Alexandra Tinker is facing a range of charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime and firearms offences.

Tinker made her first court appearance last Friday.
