Saskatchewan RCMP are asking residents in 10 northern communities to head to their local detachments if they need assistance.
The announcement comes on the heels of a Sasktel outage which RCMP said is effecting a range of communities in the north including Green Lake, Beauval, Île-à-la-Crosse, Buffalo Narrows, La Loche, Turnor Lake, Dillion, Pinehouse, Fond-du-Lac and Patuanak.
RCMP said the outage is impacting internet, radio, wireless and landline services in the northwest.
