RCMP are reporting there is an increased police presence on Big River First Nation.
Police said they are investigating several firearms related incidents.
RCMP said on Sept. 18 they were called about someone being injured on the First Nation after a confrontation. The person was taken to hospital with what police called serious injuries.
It is also believed the same suspect threatened people with a gun at two separate homes on the First Nation on Sept. 18 and 19.
Big River RCMP are being assisted by Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services, Critical Incident Response Team along with the Crime Reduction Team.
The suspect is described as being a man who stands five feet seven inches tall and weighing around 170 pounds. He has dark hair and brown eyes. The suspect as well has tattoos on both temples.
Police are asking anyone who sees the suspect not to approach him. Anyone who sees any suspicious activity is being asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
