One person has been criminally charged following a fatal collision near Tisdale Sunday afternoon.
RCMP say an SUV collided with a car on Highway 3 south of the community at around 2:00 pm.
The lone occupant of the car, a 57-year-old man from Prince Albert was declared dead at the scene. Police say his family has been notified.
Meanwhile the driver of the SUV was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening. The four other passengers in the SUV were taken to hospital with what authorities described as injuries serious in nature.
As a result of its investigation into the collision, the RCMP say the driver of the SUV, 36-year-old Brian McNab, of Kinistin Saulteaux First Nation, has been criminally charged.
McNab faces one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, along with four counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm,
He is scheduled to be in Melfort Provincial Court on Monday.
