Battlefords RCMP are investigating a shooting that took place on Friday.
At around 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting on 107th Street in North Battleford.
Officers located an injured male at the scene, who was then transported to the hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.
Mounties stated that an investigation determined that an altercation occurred between the victim and a group of individuals.
Battlefords RCMP continues to actively investigate the incident.
