RCMP have arrested a man in Pelican Narrows – accused in relation to a homicide in Saskatoon.
RCMP say 28-year-old Kendell Ameech was arrested at a home on Pelican Narrows on Monday.
Mounties arrested Ameech on multiple weapons-related charges, however, he was also wanted by Saskatoon police in relation to the homicide of 24-year-old Melissa Duquette.
Duquette’s body was found in a basement of a home in Saskatoon in April.
Earlier this month, a 33-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were charged with First-degree murder in her death.
Before Monday’s arrest, RCMP announced they were also looking for Ameech in relation to the homicide.
Ameech is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Tuesday.
