A high speed chase and the firing of a gun on Sturgeon Lake First Nation this week has lead to several charges for one man.
RCMP say the man, identified as 44-year-old Curtis Ledoux from Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, and another man were driving through Sturgeon Lake Tuesday morning at high rates of speed.
Police say the two men refused to stop for police until their vehicle broke down.
At this point, police say a firearm was discharged in the vehicle, shattering the window, and the two men fled.
Ledoux was arrested by police.
He now faces several charges including flight from police and multiple firears related charges.
He was scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Thursday.
However, police say they were unable to locate the other man.
He is described as a man with short black hair, 5’8” tall, and 140 lbs.
