Police said that on August 31, at approximately 3:50 a.m. police were called to the 800 block of Avenue I South for a report of an injured person. Further information stated someone shot at a residence from a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers stated they located the injured male. He was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Upon further investigation, video evidence was obtained and officers were also able to locate several bullet casings on the street outside the residence.
